+ | === Research interests ====
+ | I am interested in mathematical models in image processing and computer vision. My main focus lies on variational methods with non-smooth regularization terms, like the total variation and the ell^1 norm, as well as on efficient algorithms for determining their minimizers. One particular type of approach I am interested in are multi scale methods arising from Bregman iteration and its continuous limit, the inverse scale space flow.
